Who I am ?
Nina Izzo moved to California from the south of France in 2016 as the brand ambassador for Crocus, a joint venture between renowned Malbec producer, Paul Hobbs and acclaimed Cahors Malbec pioneer, Bertrand Gabriel Vigouroux.
As native of the south of France, Nina was raised among one of the most relevant and historic food and wine cultures in the world. Honoring her upbringing, she pursued a career path in wine receiving multiple degrees – a bachelor in winemaking and oenology from Agropolis Montpellier and in wine management from INSEEC Bordeaux, as well as a master of science in international wine and spirits business from ESC Dijon in Burgundy.
As an entrepreneur, during her studies she launched her own business as a winery consultant for social media, documented her knowledge in her book, “Develop Your Wine Brand” and since 2010, has captured her experience, passion for wine and enjoyable conversations with wine personalities in her blog titled, Lost in Wine.
Nina moved on to work with AOC Conseils, a national consulting network, specializing in the wine industry and with Vinexpo as marketing and social media manager before arriving in California as brand manager for Crocus.
